Terms of use
Beta terms, October 2026
What Driveway is
Driveway is a workspace for real estate agents: your people, transactions, tasks, quick CMAs, documents, email and calendar, on your phone. It is in beta, which means it is being improved every week and some parts may change.
Your account
Use your own email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has signed in, reset your password and use “Sign out all other devices” in Settings.
Your data is yours
Your clients and everything you put in Driveway belong to you. You can export it or permanently delete it at any time. We do not sell it. How we protect it is in the Privacy Policy.
Using it fairly
Don’t use Driveway to send spam, to break the law or a client’s trust, or to try to get into anyone else’s account. We may close an account that does.
Price
During the beta your account is free, or on a free trial if one was offered when you signed up. You are never charged unless you choose a paid plan yourself.
No guarantees
Driveway helps you work; it is not legal, tax or appraisal advice, and a quick CMA is an estimate, not an appraisal. We work hard to keep it running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will never be unavailable.
Smart features and estimates
Smart features use AI to draft, read and suggest. Their output can be wrong, so read it before you send or rely on it. Driveway never emails a client or contact on its own: anything it writes for you opens as a draft, and nothing is sent until you review it and press Send. Figures marked Est. are worked out from public records, not recorded facts.
Valuations
A CMA or investor packet made in Driveway is a broker’s price opinion, not an appraisal of the market value of the property, and may not be used in lieu of an appraisal. If an appraisal is desired, the services of a licensed or certified appraiser shall be obtained. It may not be used by any party as the primary basis to determine the value of a parcel of or interest in real property for a mortgage loan origination, including first and second mortgages, refinances, or equity lines of credit (N.C. Gen. Stat. § 93A-83(c)(10)). Information is deemed reliable but not guaranteed. If you charge a fee for a price opinion, you are responsible for the other contents that statute requires.
Deal links from a transaction coordinator
A transaction coordinator can send an agent who is not on Driveway an email with a link to one deal. The link opens that deal only, to read, approve what she asks and upload files to it, and works for 30 days unless she stops it sooner. Anyone holding the link can open it, so do not forward it. The coordinator is responsible for whom she sends it to. If you make your own Driveway from the link, the deals that coordinator keeps for you also appear in your Driveway as your deals, to work like any other. They stay in her Driveway too, and she can stop sharing them.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
